    Aquatic Habitat

    The aquatic habitat includes all the areas permanently or occasionally covered by water where organisms live. Based on their salinity aquatic habitats are divided into two main groups - freshwater (including lakes, rivers, streams, etc.) and marine (including seas, oceans, coral reefs).
