    Blood flow

Blood flow is a biological process that distributes blood and oxygen throughout the body. Heart muscle expands and contracts pushing blood through the chambers on the right side of the heart and to the lungs where is becomes oxygenated. The oxygenated blood is then returned to the heart through the left side chambers before being moved throughout the body via arteries.
