    Neuroscience regenerative biology

    Regenerative biology is a field of science aiming to understand how differences in the cellular and molecular makeup of regenerating and non-regenerating tissues, such as the liver. Many tissues in the neurological system, such as the brain and spinal cord, are non-regenerating tissues. Combining information learned from neuroscience with those obtained by regenerative biology, are being used to develop methods of restoring tissue structure and function in damaged, non-regenerating tissues.
