    Seizures

A seizure is a sudden, uncontrolled, electrical impulse in the brain. Seizures can alter behavior and muscle movement. There are four types of seizures: (1) tonic (muscle stiffness), (2) atonic (muscles relax), (3) myoclonic (brief jerking of muscles), (4) clonic (extended periods of shaking or jerking muscles).
