Treg therapy
Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a type of T cell responsible for maintaining homeostasis and self-tolerance by suppressing immune responses. In this role, Tregs inhibit T cells and cytokine production to prevent autoimmunity. Cellular therapies including Tregs are used to treat disorders resulting from excessive immune responses such as autoimmune diseases, transplant rejection, and graft-vs-host disease.
