    Biography
Lyn Healy has worked as a stem cell scientist for more than 30 years. She started her career at the Institute of Cancer Research, London where she worked on haematopoietic stem cells. Lyn moved to the UK Stem Cell Bank at the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control in 2003 where she was the Senior Stem Cell Biologist and worked with colleagues on a number of large infrastructure projects in banking and quality control. In 2005 she moved to the Francis Crick Institute in London, where she looks after the Human Embryo and Stem Cell Unit.

This webinar sets out to establish why quality control is key to robust, reliable, reproducible science.
We will look at best practice criteria for pluripotent stem cell lines and how we can assess the quality of the cells.

    • Understand why quality control is central to best practice.
    • Be aware of tests available for the quality control of cell lines.
    • Be aware of the consequences of not performing quality control testing.

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.

LabRoots is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program. By attending this webinar, you can earn 1 Continuing Education credit once you have viewed the webinar in its entirety.
