    Algae

Algae: is a diverse group of photosynthetic eukaryotic organisms that contain chlorophyll but lack stems, roots, leaves, or vascular tissue. This large group of nonflowering plants can range from microscopic (microalgae), to large seaweeds (macroalgae), such as giant kelp. Algae can be found everywhere on the planet and are very diverse.
