Biography
Valerie Fournier is an entomologist who received her Ph.D. in 2003. She has been a professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences of Université Laval in Quebec City, Canada since 2007. She leads research on insect diversity, integrated pest management and arthropod control in several crops. She has some 20 years of experience helping growers control pests without using pesticides. She has published some 40 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals, including high-impact magazines such as Science. She has recently started working on cannabis pests.
