    T cell repertoire

T cell receptors (TCRs) are proteins on the surface of T cells which recognize foreign antigen attached to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules and initiating a immune response. TCRs undergo genetic rearrangements allowing each to recognize a single antigen and the unique genetic combinations are called the T cell repertoire. The more unique TCRs present in a system, the more robust the immune potential.
