    Melanoma

    Melanoma is a type of skin cancer that is created by melanocyctes that have mutated. Melanocytes are pigment cells that are found on the skin. However, melanoma can occur in the intestines and eyes in more rare cases. Melanoma is a common form of cancer and considered the most dangerous form, there a more than 200,000 cases per year. Treatment can include: radiation, surgery, medication, or chemotherapy.
