Neuroscience 2021

Labroots is excited to present the 9th Annual Neuroscience Virtual Conference, to be broadcasted live on August 25th, 2021. This distinguished, online-only, event is free to attend and will once again bring together the neuroscience community to discuss and present the newest advances in understanding the human brain, neuropsychiatric disorders, and behavioral processes as it relates to the brain function.

The tracks for this year's event include:

  • Integrating Theories of the Brain
    • Success Stories
    • Data-Driven (AI) Approaches
    • Theory-Driven (Mechanistic) Approaches
    • Debate: Can we Generate an Organized Theory of the Brain? (For understanding cognition/memory, perception, behavior)
  • Neurodegenerative Disorders - Impacts and Progress
  • Mental Health in the Age of COVID-19

Call for Posters — Virtual poster sessions offer the opportunity to present data to a global audience via a PDF poster and video summary and discuss results with interested colleagues through email. Plan now to have your poster included in the Neuroscience 2021 Virtual Event. Submission is free. Submit your abstract here.

Our virtual conference allows you to participate in a global setting with no travel or cost to you. The event will remain open for 2 years from the date of the live event, and the webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing.  This virtual conference also offers increased reach for the global neuroscience community with a high degree of interaction through live-streaming video and chat sessions.

Continuing Education
Labroots is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program. By attending this event, you can earn 1 Continuing Education credit per presentation for a maximum of 40 credits.

Posters

CALL FOR POSTERS
The deadline for electronic submission of your poster title, abstract and poster PDF is August 20th at 5:00pm PDT.

POSTER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Virtual poster sessions offer the opportunity to present data to a global audience via a PDF poster and video summary, and discuss results with interested colleagues through email. Posters should be submitted as a PowerPoint file. Presentations should incorporate illustrative materials such as tables, graphs, photographs, and large-print text. This content is not peer-reviewed. Submission is free.

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT
If you are interested in sponsoring a Poster for this virtual event and generate leads, the cost is $250 and you can submit the poster at advertise@labroots.com.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed and decisions regarding acceptance will be made as abstracts are received. You will be notified within one week of receipt about acceptance. Further details and registration materials will be provided at that time. You do not have to be present in order to have a poster displayed. Only those abstracts approved by Labroots may display posters at this event.

If accepted, you will also have the opportunity to record a 3-5 minute summary video for each poster. Labroots will work with each individual to create these videos. Video links and email contact information will be included on each poster displayed.

POSTER COMPETITION
Give your research a competitive edge - featuring the Labroots' Virtual Poster Competition!

The winning author(s) and their research will be featured in a Labroots Trending Science News article written by a specialist in the field. This article will be distributed to over 30,000 Labroots Newsletter subscribers, and will be highlighted on our social media pages to provide increased global reach.

Posters will be assessed and voted on by an anonymous board of Labroots conference organizers in the following categories: originality, innovation, impact, and organization.

The winner of the Labroots Poster Competition will be announced after the virtual poster symposium. The winner(s) will then have the option to be interviewed by a science writer and provide quotes describing the importance of their work.

Each poster submitted will be automatically considered for the competition unless the authors opt-out.

Sponsored posters are not eligible for inclusion in the Poster Competition.
