    Auditory Processing

    Auditory Processing is a disorder in which one has difficulty recognizing speech patterns in a loud environment, differentiating similar sounds, and following oral directions. The disorder has no definitive cause but may be linked to brain injury, premature birth, or ear infections. Treatments can include therapy and listening devices.
