    Immunoglobulins

Immunoglobulins are produced by plasma cells and are classed as proteins located in the cells and serum of the immune system that work as antibodies. They are an essential part of the destruction of bacteria and viruses, creating a specific and complex immune response. Studying immunoglobulins aids in immunoassays and other forms of detection.
