    Amphetamine

Amphetamines are potent central nervous system stimulant drugs that increase the activity of certain chemicals in the brain. These drugs are used to speed up the messages travelling between the brain and the body. Amphetamines are used for treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, narcolepsy, and obesity.
