Microbiology refers to the study of organisms like bacteria, viruses, arachae, fungi. and protozoa. It includes fundamental research on biochemistry, physiology, cell biology, ecology, evolution, and clinical aspects of microorganisms including how a host responds to these agents; research mcrobiology refers to the processes used to study microbiology.
