Cell culturing is a laboratory procedure in which cells are grown under controlled conditions. Each type of cell has its own optional cell culture conditions under which it will proliferate and grow. Cell culture conditions control external exposures such as temperature, carbon dioxide, and light. Optimal conditions can also include the nutrients and supplements provided to the cells to help them grow.
