    Muscular stem cells

    Muscular stem cells are stem cells present in the skeletal muscle tissue of adults. Stem cells, including muscular stem cells, are capable of self-renewal which means they can generate new skeletal muscle cells. When skeletal muscle cells are injured or damaged, muscular stem cells become activated and regenerate to replace the impaired cells.
