    Single-Molecule Fluorescence

Single molecule fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy are powerful methods that are used to examine a multitude of phenomena using advanced techniques such as total internal reflection (TIRF) and superresolution imaging. It involves the study of individual fluorescent molecules, and can provide information that would be hidden in measurements involving a large number of molecules.
