    Industrial: a broad term to describe all aspects of industry or a company engaged in industry through the manufacture of products, such as industrial workers, or industrial pollution. Industrial scientists perform research and development work with a commercial focus in fields like agriculture, food science, environmental science, earth science, pharmaceutical science, engineering and technology. Much of an industrial scientist's time is spent on stressful and challenging deadline-oriented projects.
