Plant is a living organism of the kind exemplified by trees, shrubs, herbs, grasses, ferns, and mosses, typically growing in a permanent site. They are multicellular organisms in the kingdom Plantae that use photosynthesis to make their own food. A plant is a living thing that grows in the earth and has a stem, leaves, and roots.
