Dimension of Time: From Culture to Assay

Re-define the workflows and possibilities of cell biology by joining our virtual event!

This event offers an overview of how live-cell analysis enables real-time analysis for the full workflow of the cells. Start at the beginning and learn more about the cell health, growth and morphology of your cells in culture.  From there, gain a better understanding of the efficiency of transfection and how the consistency of cell plating as well pre-treatments can affect your cells during manipulation, all the way to the final kinetic assay itself. You’ll receive in-depth content designed to give you the tools and insights of live-cell analysis to make data driven decisions.

Join our Virtual Event to:

  • Access valuable webinars and posters — provided by live-cell analysis experts
  • Access a wide selection of resources, such as the handbook, white papers, application notes and lab training video (exclusive!)
  • Connect with our application scientists via email to get tips and tricks and troubleshooting help
  • Participate in the event’s Live-Cell educational course to earn a Certificate of Completion
  • Receive free Continuing Education (CE) credits for attending the event

This event will remain open 12 months from the date of the live event.

Continuing Education
LabRoots is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program. By attending this event, you can earn 1 Continuing Education credit per presentation for a maximum of 12 credits.

Virtual Lab Training

In both academic and pharma research, cell-based assays rely on some type of measurement of a living cell. However, sometimes we forget that from the moment cells are placed in culture, there is opportunity to learn/monitor the cells prior to analysis.

Join us in our Virtual Lab where we will be providing a unique opportunity to engage in an onsite lab training session where we will discuss how we use immortalized cells, as well as how this type of technology is extremely important for more variable cell lines (primary or iPSCs), where tracking the full workflow is crucial.

In summary, our training will cover:

  • Value of the data is only as good as its relevance to physiological conditions
  • Artifact free monitoring
  • Optimal spatial resolution (avoid phototoxicity)
  • Imaging duration and temporal resolution (discover late-stage activities) – frequency and length
  • Importance of cell culture conditions during acquisition – maintain uncompromised incubation conditions to limit perturbation of the cell microenvironment (constant temp, humidity, CO2 and no physical disturbance/movement)
  • Quantitative analysis to extract relevant information from imaging data
  • Sufficient sampling of wells for statistically significant analysis results
