    Molecular Physics

Molecular Physics: the study of the physical properties of molecules, the chemical bonds between atoms as well as the molecular dynamics. A crucial component of this is understanding the behaviour of the electrons that surround the atomic nucleus; these dynamics dominate the way atoms and molecules interact with their environment. Its most important experimental techniques are the various types of spectroscopy; scattering is also used.
